Affiliated Bodies
The Popular Democratic Movement Youth League (PDMYL) is the party's youth wing, mobilising young Namibians and providing a platform for the next generation of leaders. In September 2019, PDMYL Secretary-General Bensen Katjirijova joined the Secretary General at a press conference held at party headquarters to communicate outcomes of the PDM Central Committee meeting.
The party's organisational structure also includes regional branches and committees that coordinate activities across Namibia's constituencies.
The organisational structure of the Popular Democratic Movement reflects a commitment to grassroots engagement and disciplined leadership across all levels of the party. Affiliated bodies, including dedicated youth and women's wings, work in coordination with regional and constituency structures to ensure that the party's voice reaches every community in Namibia. This integrated framework allows for consistent communication between national leadership and local branches, ensuring that policy direction flows downward while the concerns and aspirations of ordinary citizens flow upward. Through regular meetings, training programmes, and community outreach initiatives, the party maintains an active presence throughout the country, reinforcing its role as a credible and organised political force dedicated to serving the Namibian people.
